Maddie Skeldon is a nineteen-year-old singer-songwriter who has always been drawn to music. She started classical piano training at age five and formal guitar instruction at thirteen. In the last few years, she has begun her songwriting journey.

She was selected to the Rhode Island Senior All-State Classical Guitar Ensemble in 2021, 2022, and 2023. While her classical training has helped her along the way, she loves other styles of music, especially pop, country, and rock. She counts the Beatles, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, and Olivia Rodrigo among her influences.

As a student at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts, she composed an original instrumental song for the 2020 Virtual Commencement. In 2021, she composed and performed the entire score for Beacon’s production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen. In 2023, she wrote and performed an original song (“Never Felt More Alive”) in place of her valedictory address at the school.

She has appeared on local television and premiered a song on Nashville radio while continuing to release new music.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Music Business at Hofstra University in New York with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026.
